Paystand.org, the philanthropic arm of Paystand, celebrates its first anniversary by announcing the opening of applications for its 2025 Grant Program. This marks an exciting opportunity for small and medium-sized NGOs working to advance financial inclusion, and Bitcoin education, and promote Bitcoin-based circular economies.
Strong Start in Year One
In its debut year, Paystand.org demonstrated impressive results. It grew its partnerships from four organizations in three countries to 10 NGOs across six nations. The result? Over 40,000 individuals in underrepresented communities benefited from its innovative financial inclusion programs.
Empowering Underbanked Communities
“We’re proud to support those who have been excluded from the traditional financial systems,” said Jeremy Almond, CEO of Paystand. The 2025 grants will further this mission, ranging from $3,000 to $25,000. These funds aim to support projects that empower underbanked communities with education, tools, and access to the growing Bitcoin economy.
The application process is now open, with the deadline set for January 14, 2025. Paystand.org aims to continue reshaping financial ecosystems and drive meaningful change across the globe.
Milestone Achievements in 2024
Paystand.org’s first year saw incredible milestones. Volunteer missions to El Salvador, education programs like Mi Primer Bitcoin reaching over 25,000 people, and groundbreaking projects like Bitcoin School Argentina, all contributed to Paystand.org’s ongoing impact.
Additionally, Paystand.org announced the first “Mujeres en Bitcoin” event in Latin America, empowering women across the region with the knowledge and community support they need to engage with Bitcoin and its potential.
Now is the time for eligible organizations to take action and apply for the 2025 Paystand.org grants.
