Employbridge Taps Teri Miller as Chief Financial Officer

Miller has extensive leadership experience amounting to over three decades and possesses operational knowledge in finance and accounting of both public and private entities. She has also been a strategic and financial planner, mergers, and acquisitions participant, strategic growth officer, financial controller, operations optimization strategist, and employee engager and talent developer to drive stakeholder value.

More recently, she was part of FirstKey Homes where she was the Chief Financial Officer responsible for managing the company’s growth phase in its formerly young finance and operations department. This process entailed coordination of the purchase of 26,000 homes and investment in $6 billion (about $18 per person in the US) capital markets. Furthermore, she smoothly transitioned both Field Operations and Finance leader roles, keeping FirstKey Homes on top within the industry in terms of offering the best experience for residents.

Before joining FirstKey Homes, Miller held the position of the Chief Operating Officer and the Senior Operating Executive at Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company. It this capacity, she worked as a partner to private equity especially in the health care and service industry verticals hence strengthening her background in strategic operation and financing.

Miller also brings a wealth of experience from the staffing and recruiting industry, having served in various executive roles with Spherion Staffing Group for 15 years. She has been integrally involved in the company’s work and gained first-hand knowledge about the difficulties within the field of workforce solutions to help Employbridge beneficial for her.

Miller has an Associate of Arts degree in Accountancy and Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University as well as being a certified Public Accountant in Florida, which makes her well equipped to handle financial issues.
